This policy explains how the iOS app handles your records, optional permissions, purchases, advertising and analytics. You do not need to create an app account to use Today Weight.<\/p>\n You may enter weight, height, age or birthday, gender, goals, meals, portions, nutrition values, activities, notes, tags and photos. The app uses these records to display your history, trends, BMI, nutrition summaries and energy estimates. Food and energy values are estimates or reference information, not medical advice.<\/p>\n If you grant Apple Health access, the app can read the authorized types, including weight, height, steps, walking\/running distance, active and resting energy, and exercise time, and save supported records to Health with your permission. Access depends on the permissions you grant in iOS. Refusing Health access does not prevent manual weight recording.<\/p>\n Your personal health, food and photo records are stored in the app’s local storage and, when iCloud sync is enabled and available, in your private iCloud storage. iCloud sync is enabled by default and can be changed in the app’s settings. The app does not send the contents of these records or data obtained from Apple Health to its advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not use Health data for advertising, marketing or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell your health records.<\/p>\n The free app includes third-party advertising and analytics services. Unlike your private health records, technical and advertising data may leave your device and be processed by those providers. Depending on the service, permissions and SDK configuration, this can include device or installation identifiers (such as IDFV and, when authorized, IDFA), SDK-generated user identifiers, IP address and approximate location, device model, OS and app version, language, network information, app interactions, ad impressions and clicks, crash reports and performance information. These data support ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention, usage analysis and service reliability. Identifiers and ad or interaction data may be associated with a device or used for tracking where permission is granted.<\/p>\n The app’s App Store privacy label separately identifies health and fitness data for app functionality, technical diagnostics, and the identifiers, coarse location and usage data associated with advertising and analytics. That label covers the app and its integrated SDKs. Pro removes in-app advertising while your Pro entitlement is active; it does not delete data already processed by a provider or turn off all analytics automatically.<\/p>\n Apple operates Health, iCloud, WeatherKit and App Store purchases under its own privacy terms. StoreKit provides product, entitlement and transaction information so the app can unlock or restore Pro. We do not receive your payment card details. An Apple Account may be needed for these Apple services; this is not a separate Today Weight account.<\/p>\n When you choose to export CSV files, save an image or share a record, the destination you select receives that content. Please choose recipients carefully. If you email support, we receive the information and attachments you include. Avoid sending health information that is unnecessary for your request.<\/p>\n Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app’s local data. Synced records and photos may also remain in iCloud; removing the app from a device alone does not necessarily erase iCloud data or copies on another device. Apple and the SDK providers operate their own infrastructure and retain service data under their published policies and applicable law. Advertising and analytics providers may process information on their servers, including in mainland China, and the applicable storage location and retention depend on the provider and service. We do not promise that all technical or advertising data stays only on your device.<\/p>\n We use iOS app storage protections and Apple’s private iCloud facilities for your records. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain support correspondence only for handling the request and any applicable legal obligations. Provider-held data is subject to the provider’s retention and deletion processes linked above.<\/p>\n Today Weight has no app account registration or account deletion workflow. References to your Apple Account concern Apple’s services.<\/p>\n The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe such information has been provided, contact us so that we can investigate and assist with deletion as appropriate.<\/p>\n We update this page when our practices change and show the revision date above.
